All car rentals, car hire are subject to the Terms and Conditions as laid out here below.

Order Cancellation and Rejection Policy

At Z&G, we strive to provide exceptional service and high-quality products to our valued customers. However, there may be occasions where we need to cancel or reject an order. As such, we reserve the right to cancel or reject any order at our sole discretion, without providing an explanation.

Key Points:
Discretionary Right: Z&G reserves the right to cancel or reject any order at any time, at our sole discretion, without prior notice or explanation.
Customer Notification: In the event that an order is canceled or rejected, we will notify the customer via the contact information provided during the order process.
Refunds: If payment has already been made for a canceled or rejected order, Z&G will process a refund for the full amount paid. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used during the order.
Protection of Interests: This policy is in place to protect the interests of both our customers and our business, ensuring that we can continue to deliver high-quality products and services

Price Calculation

Price Calculation – Prices are based on the pick-up and drop-off times and dates that you agree before your rental starts. If you pick the car up any later or bring it back any earlier, you will not receive a refund for unused time

Payment

All rental costs are payable and must be completed upon collection (pick up) of the vehicle in € (euro) by cash or major Credit/Debit card. Additionally a Bank transfer can be used in which case, after your booking please request our company’s Bank details for your transfer.

INSURANCE

All vehicles are provided with Collision Damage Waiver (C.D.W), Third party insurance with excess liability. The third-party insurance with C.D.W provided according to Cyprus law cover against repairs cost relating from any accident caused by the Hirer to other parties.
An excess responsibility applies to all Hirers respectively to each car groups, the amounts are:

Group compact €750
Group medium €900,
Group 6seaters €1250

After the mentioned period of 15 days above the owner according to the rental agreement has the right to charge the Hirer’s credit card for any fine violations might arise after the end of the rental period.
The Hirer and additional drivers are insured only for the period mentioned on the signed rental agreement.
The insurance cover provided with every rental is considered VOID when the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, when the vehicle is driven off road or in unpaved roads, when an unauthorised person/ not mentioned on the rental agreement is driving the vehicle, when the vehicle is used for any illegal purposes and for bad use of the vehicle.
The Hirer agrees that the vehicle cannot be used:
• For illegal purposes or racing.
• For pushing or towing a trailer or other carriage.
• When under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• For driving off-road or on unpaved roads.
Z&G RENTAL holds no responsibility for your transportation in case of accident or damages in off road areas.
Z&G RENTAL has the right to charge the Hirer’s or additional driver’s credit card for any unsettled amounts from damages/fines occurred during the rental period.
The Hirer is responsible to fuel the vehicle with the correct type of gas.
The Third Party insurance provided for each rental vehicle is according to the Terms & Conditions of the relevant insurance policy with Hire Risks Pool.
In case of accidents insurance does not cover the driver for any costs arising in death or injuries.
For any dispute regarding this rental so far as permitted to Cyprus Law. If the Hirer is an individual the court will be chosen according to the local law, whereas if the Hirer is not an individual the court will be chosen according to the place where the Owner has its registration office.

Driver’s License Requirements

The renter and all authorized drivers must present a valid, unexpired, and original driver’s license at the time of the rental. The driver’s license must be in good condition and valid for the entire rental period. Temporary Licenses are only accepted when presented alongside the original expired or voided driver’s license. Photocopies, digital licenses, Learner’s Permits, and driver’s licenses with driving restrictions will not be accepted. All drivers must produce a valid passport and/or Identification Card at the time of rental. You are responsible for complying with all licensing and traffic laws and regulations. Driver’s license must also be with Roman Alphabet (English) so the License could be for example in Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic etc but it must also be in English. If the Driver’s License is not also written in English then it must be complemented by an international driver’s license.

Age Restrictions

Certain regulations apply related to minimum age and possession of driver’s license which can be found during the booking process depending on the booked vehicle. Drivers must be over the age of 25 years and under the age of 75 years and must hold a valid Driver’s License for a minimum of 3 years. Drivers between 21 and 24 years and between 76 and 85 years must pay an extra insurance premium of €5 per day. For certain specialty and larger-sized vehicles the minimum age of 25 years of age applies. An Underage Driver Fee will apply for drivers under 25 years.

Vehicle Categories

Our vehicles are categorised using the SIPP (Standard Interline Passenger Procedure) codes which are the Industry standard in the Car Rental business to summarise the key features of the vehicles. Vehicles are booked by category/group, not by specific models and are subject to availability. Z&G Rental reserves the right to upgrade your vehicle without prior notice, if the model/group requested becomes unavailable for unforeseen circumstances. The rate will remain the same as originally quoted with no extra charge for the upgrade.

Occupied part of Cyprus(Northen Cyprus)

Important Notice Regarding Travel to the Occupied Northern Part of Cyprus:
Please be aware that insurance companies do not offer coverage for vehicles rented for travel to the occupied northern part of Cyprus. Even if you acquire additional insurance coverage at checkpoints or follow reporting procedures in the event of an accident, insurance becomes null and void in this region. Z&G Rental cannot provide assistance in case of accidents or breakdowns in the occupied northern part of Cyprus. Therefore, driving to this area is undertaken entirely at your own risk, and you will be held fully accountable for any accidents, damages, recovery, or additional costs incurred. Your attention to this matter is crucial for your safety and financial security.

Cancellation Policy:

You can cancel your reservation and receive a full refund if you do so at least 72 hours before your pick-up date and time. Simply call us on +357 96 762759
If you cancel your reservation less than 72 hours before your pick-up date and time, we will refund any amount charged for your booking, but a €50 cancellation fee will be retained.
Please note that no refunds will be issued for no-shows (failure to pick up your rental at the scheduled time) or for failure to provide the necessary documentation (voucher, driving license, credit card, etc.).

TRAFFIC FINES

All traffic fines incurred will be the responsibility of the HIRER.

DRINK DRIVING

Drink driving is not permitted at anytime in any vehicle, if you do so a penalty of €1000 will be immediately charged and the Contract between Z&G Rental and the HIRER will be terminated.

Flight Details

Flight Details – If you are arriving by plane, it is better to inform us of your arrival flight number and give us a mobile number even a few hours before your rental to start. If you do not, we cannot be held responsible if your plane is delayed and as a result your car is not available. Please ensure that you enter your flight number and not any other number the airline may have sent you, such as a confirmation number.

Loss of Keys

Loss of Keys – If you lose your key(s), you will be charged the cost of replacement and the loss to us.

Seatbelt

Seatbelt – Driver and passengers must wear seatbelts at all times.

Valeting Fee – Smoking

Please be informed that smoking is strictly prohibited in our rental cars. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in a cleaning fee ranging from €40 to €150, depending on the extent of cleaning required to restore the vehicle to its pre-rental condition. This fee will apply for any reason other than smoking as well, if the vehicle requires more than the standard cleaning to account for fair wear and tear. Your cooperation in maintaining the cleanliness of our vehicles is greatly appreciated.

LOSS OF EQUIPMENT CHARGES

If you lose any of the equipment that you hired as extra at the counter you will be charged: – for baby seat €120, for child seat €120 and for GPS €120.

Pets

“Please be advised that pets are strictly prohibited during the rental period. Violation of this policy may result in a fine of up to 200 euros.
